San Pedro del Pinatar  is a Spanish municipality of the  Región de Murcia. On the banks of two seas, the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor, is one of the main tourist centers of the Costa Cálida, in the Spanish southeast.

The Mar Menor is the largest salt lagoon in Europe. Separated from the Mediterranean by La Manga del Mar Menor, a sandy tongue 22 kilometers long. This paradisiacal natural environment enjoys unbeatable conditions for the practice of water sports (sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, scuba diving).

Within a radius of less than 55 km you can find three urban centers of more than one hundred thousand inhabitants: Torrevieja, Cartagena and Murcia. Just 30 km from Corvera International Airport, less than 50 km from Alicante International Airport and 15 km from the Balsicas train station.

Its strategic location on the coast and its environmental qualities have led to a rapid growth of the population and an increase in commercial and economic activity. The coastal and medicinal tourism (Lodos Salinas del Mar Menor), traditional fishing, agriculture and the exploitation of the salt mines are its main economic activities.

The local parties are in summer, which means that many people who spend the summer in the area can participate.
